The Actor Review: James McAvoy

A great article, about a great actor.
Not too much text, and a lot of pictures illustrating the words.
Worth checking!

« I always believed that I never wanted to be an actor. I only did it because I was allowed to do it and I had to do something. »

I’ve been fascinated by this Scottish actor ever since his role as a faun « Mr. Tumnus » in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005).

Since that he has shown up somewhat unexpectedly in his roles, risen up above his co-stars and conveyed the story all the way. Like the movies Atonement (2007), Wanted (2008) and Trance (2013).

He always has such empathy, passion and commitment in his presence.

Additionally… for me it sounds always sexy; a Scottish accent.

James McAvoy is a man with a million faces.

Like Jude Law

Or, umm… Russell Crowe

Could do Ewan McGregor, too

A mad man

A bad guy

A member of a British pop-rock band

A kid
